COVID-19 Update (18/3/20)

With the current status of COVID-19 and the impacts it is having, we want to reassure all our clients that we are doing everything we can to look after our patients and your health and safety but can only do this if our team are healthy and able to provide services in our practice. Albeit with some additional measures as explained below.

We have put in place sanitation stations in our practice and ask that clients disinfect their hands-on entry to and exit from the clinic.

If you are experiencing respiratory symptoms consistent with coronavirus (sore throat, fever, cough, respiratory difficulty), or have been in contact with a known COVID-19 positive person, please do not present to the clinic. Please contact our reception and we will provide you with further guidance on how we can assist you in getting treatment for your pet.

If you would prefer to wait in your vehicle before appointment, please contact us from the parking area to let us know you are here and we will advise you accordingly.

Our team is updated daily ensuring we continuously implementing front line cleanliness, Covid-19 hygiene and safety protocols. This includes disinfecting all high area risk surfaces (including the EFTPOS terminal, internal and external door handles and counter surfaces) every hour. Staff also have strict hand hygiene protocols.

We will continue to follow all SA Department of Health and World Health Organisation clinical guidelines as well as information provided by The Australian Veterinary Association for sterilisation, cleanliness and hygiene in relation to Covid-19, on top of our existing regulations.

What to expect:

1.    A Covid-19 related SMS before your appointment

2.    Sanitisation facilities on arrival and departure

3.    Clear guidance as to how to proceed should you be unwell but still require treatment for your pet.

If you have any questions relating to your appointment please do not hesitate to contact us at 8449 4011.

As always, we look forward to being of service to you.
